About Us
Alaya Creations is a heartfelt project born in 2021 out of a shared love for Cambodia. Behind the brand is a small team of three friends with different backgrounds but one common passion: showcasing the richness of Khmer culture through beautiful, meaningful creations.
The name “Alaya” comes from Sanskrit and translates to “abode” or a place tied to deep emotions—something close to the heart. For the team, it reflects their mission: to create products that not only celebrate Cambodian heritage but also leave a lasting impression and connection with those who experience them.
Our prints and packaging are done in Siem Reap, and they partner with a group of women artisans in a nearby village to handle the packaging by hand. So when you buy one of their pieces, you’re not just supporting artists—you’re helping strengthen an entire local network.
